Mandelic Acid

Mandelic acid is a go-to anti-ageing ingredient in the world of skincare. It works to accelerate cell turnover by dissolving the tiny bonds that hold skin cells together, helping to remove dead skin on the surface that can lead to dull complexions, as well as fine lines.

MANDELIC ACID
INCI Name: Mandelic Acid

CAS Number: 90-64-2

Product Description
Mandelic Acid is a gentle, water-soluble alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. Known for its exfoliating, brightening, and anti-aging properties, it promotes cell turnover, improves skin texture, and helps fade hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Thanks to its larger molecular size, mandelic acid penetrates the skin more slowly than glycolic acid, making it ideal for sensitive, melanin-rich, or acne-prone skin.

It’s commonly used in serums, toners, peels, and creams for gentle exfoliation and skin renewal.
