Product Description
Glutathione is a powerful tripeptide antioxidant composed of glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine. Naturally found in the skin, it protects against environmental damage, neutralizes free radicals, and helps reduce the appearance of dark spots, blemishes, and uneven skin tone. Known for its skin-brightening properties, Glutathione is a popular active in formulations targeting hyperpigmentation, dullness, and premature aging.
It works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and promoting the production of pheomelanin (a lighter pigment), resulting in a more radiant and even complexion.
